We plan each litter carefully. We study pedigrees to make sure our puppies come from excellent parents and beyond. We stay within certain bloodlines and we can go back past the 1950's with the background information on all beagles and ancestors to breed the best to the best to create puppies with excellent health, temperament and intelligence. All our adult beagles and puppies are CKC Registered (Canadian Kennel Club) with papers and pedigree. When you purchase a beagle from Maple-Oak Kennels you get a beautiful, healthy, intelligent puppy that will grow into a wonderful adult family member for many years to come.
We offer the following which is included in the purchase price of each puppy:
- A Certificate Of Purebred Dog Registration from the Canadian Kennel Club.

- 1st puppy vaccinations administered by our licenced veterinarian approx. 1 week before they are scheduled to leave our kennel against the following: (Distemper, Parainfluenza virus, Adenovirus type 2 and Parvovirus). A Certificate of Vaccination will be given to all new puppy owners signed by our veterinarian along with a Vaccination Record Booklet to take to your veterinarian so they can continue the booster vaccinations at 12 weeks and again at 16 weeks. Your veterinarian will go over the required schedule of vaccinations for the first year and advise you regarding spaying/neutering of your puppy.
- Each puppy is micro-chipped before leaving our kennel with a CKC approved ISO micro-chip and we register this micro-chip with the Canadian Kennel Club for your Certificate and we further register this micro-chip number and your contact information on the North American micro-chip data base.
- We give you a 4 generation pedigree or family tree of your puppy showing the puppy's registered background bloodlines.
- After you take your puppy home, we will continue to give you support and answer any questions or concerns you may have.

PICKING YOUR PUPPY AND
KEEPING YOU UPDATED:
Your pick of the litter is determined by the order of when we receive your deposit and this applies separately for each gender (males/females). Example: If you were the first person to reserve a female from the litter, you would have 1st pick choice of all the females in the litter. If you are the second person to reserve a female from the same litter, then you would have 2nd pick choice and so on until all the females have been spoken for in the litter. The same applies for the males.
We only take 2 female and 2 male reservations per litter before they are born and any pups born over and above these reserved pups will be advertised on our homepage as being available to reserve until they are all spoken for by the time they are ready to go to their new homes. In the event that you reserve a puppy prior to birth of that litter and that litter does not have a puppy for you for whatever reason, then you will automatically be placed to the next available litter to ensure you get a puppy.
When the puppies are approx. 4 weeks old, we email a picture to everyone who has reserved a puppy in that litter and update on the progress of the puppies.

SHIPPING INFORMATION:
We will ship by air to any major airport in Canada and only if Air Canada or Wesjet can fly into that location with live animal cargo.
We handle all the airline and shipping arrangements, you don't have to do anything. All you have to do is pick up your pup at the airport and take him/her home. Cost of the air fare will be determined at time of booking and will be added to the cost of your puppy along with the cost of the airline approved crate, veterinarian medical, (if applicable), transportation surcharge, stuffed toy and blanket, and all applicable taxes. The airlines "live animal" personnel know us and our kennel and take special care of our puppies and they have always made sure they arrive safely at their appointed destination.
Shipping in the winter months will depend on the airport destination for the welfare of the puppy. We will go over any questions or concerns you may have with regard to shipping your puppy.
